The hotel has a vibrant and trendy atmosphere that attracts a younger crowd and is located steps away from Old Town Scottsdale, making it easy to explore. While I appreciated the fun decor and the comfortable pools, the overall cleanliness left much to be desired, especially in my room. The service was friendly and accommodating, but some facilities, like the restaurant and pool, had limited availability and could use improvement.

Rooms

The rooms had a cool retro vibe, but the hard floors were uncomfortable, and the sliding bathroom door didn't shut properly. There were also some cleanliness issues that stood out.
Service

The service was accommodating, with friendly staff always ready to help. However, at times, communication could be better as phone issues arose during my stay.
Location

The location is fantastic, just a block or two from all the excitement of Old Town Scottsdale. It was easy to walk to galleries and eateries nearby.

The pool area was a nice spot to relax, though it got quite crowded. There were fun events, but the main pool was closed during my visit, which was quite a letdown.

My stay at the Saguaro was a mix of enjoyable aspects and some frustrating ones. The vibrant decor and playful atmosphere were delightful, but the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms left much to be desired. The pool area was nice, but I was disappointed that one pool was closed during my visit, which affected my overall experience. The location is absolutely convenient, though, with easy access to great local spots, making it a decent choice for a short getaway.

The room had a fun and colorful vibe, but it felt a bit dated and there were cleanliness issues, like a stained duvet and an air conditioning unit that didn't cool well.

The stay at this hotel was a mixed bag. While the location was fantastic, just a stroll away from Old Town Scottsdale, I found the overall experience lacking due to outdated rooms and issues with the cleanliness. The vibrant atmosphere around the pool area was enjoyable, but the noise levels from the music made it difficult to relax. Dining on-site had its highlights, especially with the delicious dishes, but it was overshadowed by service inconsistencies. Overall, it's a great option if you're looking for a fun locale, but you might want to manage your expectations regarding the accommodations.

7.4/10

During my recent stay at The Saguaro Scottsdale, I found the colorful decor and vibrant atmosphere to be refreshing, although the overall experience fell short of expectations based on the website's photos. The staff were welcoming, and the location was perfect for exploring the local scene, but the additional resort fee felt unjustified for what was more of a motel experience with limited amenities. While the pools were enjoyable, the party atmosphere on weekends might not suit everyone.

Rooms
6.0
The room had been updated with bright colors, but the condition showed signs of wear, with a sliding bathroom door that didn't close properly.

Service from the staff was friendly, but I felt it was minimal, which was disappointing considering the resort aspect they promote.

I had a pleasant stay overall, enjoying the vibrant atmosphere and the hotel’s location near Old Town Scottsdale. The room was spacious and had easy access to the pool, although some maintenance issues were a bit disappointed. The staff was friendly and attentive, and I appreciated the complimentary coffee and pastries during checkout. While the pool area was inviting, the noise levels could be bothersome at times. Overall, it offers good value for exploring the area, but some upgrades could enhance the experience.

The room was spacious with a patio leading to the pool, but it had some maintenance issues like a malfunctioning sliding door and a sink that didn’t drain properly.
